P0323 Oval - Full beaver pelt front, Brown leather back. Approx. 23" to 25" diameter round.* (Actual size will vary with beaver skin size.) We use Northern Beaver pelts. Shading will vary by time of the year harvested. These animals are often trapped for their fur. During the early 19th century, trapping eliminated this animal from large portions of its original range. However, through trap and transfer and habitat conservation it made a nearly complete recovery by the 1940s. The current beaver population has been estimated to be 10 to 15 million. Size & shape can vary as each pelt is unique. $470.

P0326 North American Elk in palomino color. The elk is antique and has a 8" wide brindle color hair-on-cow center panel. Edges are hand laced using elk or deer lacing. 15" X 24". $196.
