Saddle Pad & Boots

STARPAD A neoprene layer on the outside of the pad grips the saddle to prevent separation. Underside is made of fleece. There is a felt inner pad between the outer cover and the fleece to insure comfort and breath ability. Only 1/2 inch thick, the pad allows the rider to be closer to the horse improving performance and comfort for a more enjoyable ride. Combination Gag Bits: A gag bit is used for lateral leverage and does not apply pressure to the bars of the horse's mouth. Most often used in Barrel Racing to elevate a horse in a turn. A hackamore is designed to create pressure just above the soft tissue of the nose, when the curb chain is engaged it also applies pressure to the chin groove. The hackamore is designed for getting quick stops from forward motion. When combined w/ a mouthpiece, the Hackamore gains more lateral control.
